Journey Up!

The 3D ultrasound is really cool! Cam and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to do this especially when we found out that the last ultrasound we would have with the doctor was at 17 1/2 weeks. Our 3D ultrasound was done at 26 1/2 weeks and it is amazing to see how much the baby has developed. We were able to see the baby's little hands and legs, fingers and toes. The ultrasound technician mostly focused on Baby Watts face and he got some great images. Boy is she cute. :)
This past weekend was filled with so many fun activities, I feel like I needed to couple of days to recover....the tiredness is slowly catching up with me. So, it is now Wednesday evening and I am finally blogging. Our weekend started out with a fun dinner at the Basin in Saratoga with our new friends Eva and Bryan. They also live in Los Gatos so it was nice to finally meet and hang out with some locals!
Here is my cute mom, who purchased the baby furniture for Cam and I. We are so thankful for her and all the help she has provided for us. She has really helped us to get prepared and organized. Mom, You Rock!

The next day was a BIG day for us because we (oh wait did I say we, I meant I..ha ha) put together the crib and went to our 3D ultrasound appointment. I will admit anytime new furniture arrives at our doorstep, I am so eager to build it that I don't really even give Cam a chance to help. I also know I said I would hold off on showing the entire nursery, but I am terrible with secrets, so here it is!
Look at me, I am so proud of my construction of the crib.
Another sneak peak of baby Watts room. It is amazing how all the furniture fits in what seem like a small place.
Growing all over.

From guest room to nursery......
I am so excited because we have officially started to decorate the baby's room. Cameron spent the afternoon painting baby Watts room a perfect, pink. At first I thought it was a little too much, but once it dried, I looooved it! The colors of the nursery are going to be petal pink and chocolate brown, and our theme is european, kind of anthroplogie (like the store), shabby chic. This little box from my mother-in-law, Sharon, was the inspiration for the room. She gave us a couple of these nesting boxes around the time of our wedding and I never used them. I am so happy I saved them because they are perfect for the nursery. We can't wait to continue decorating and watching as the nursery comes together. We will have to decide if we want to post more pictures or keep it a secret so that you all will have to come and visit us!!
Here is the first piece of furniture we put together in the nursery. So fun! It fit perfectly in this little corner and looks so cute. I got super excited and put up a couple of stuffed animals and books we have received from friends and family. I am starting to read to baby Watts as much as possible so she will be a smarty pants when she is born!
Caryn and Joe came over to visit baby Watts and see the nursery as well. Joe was so funny because he had never seen a Webster before. See how much he likes him, he can't even take his eyes off of him. Webster was also very fond of Joe and kept giving him little licks and sniffs. Cameron and I were happy to see that Web was so into the baby and figured that it was great for when our little one comes.

Recent Belly Shots!
Here is a picture of me recently. As you will note my belly has gotten a lot bigger. People can actually tell that I am pregnant these days, and not just fat....ha ha. On Tuesday September 2nd we had our 24 week appointment which was short and sweet. The baby had a very strong heartbeat that we were able to hear with a regular stethoscope. Cam definitely heard this heartbeat clearly. Baby girl Watts even gave us a strong kick while doctor Liu was listening to the heartbeat....at which we both laughed. Graham thinks that we have a little soccer player in my belly and at the way she is moving and kicking, I would have to agree.
Cam is so proud to be a dad and I just know he is going to be a great one! Here is a picture of the two of us one beautiful night in Los Gatos. The heat has been a killer for me and I am so happy that it is starting to cool down.
Daddy turns 31....
Cameron ordered a Filet Mignon wrapped in Pancetta....mouth watering and I don't even like meat.

Labor Day
This Labor day we spent one day over in Santa Cruz hanging with the Walsh clan. The Walsh family has a cute little beach house in Rio Del Mar about a block from the beach.
Webster loved playing on the beach, especially running around in the sand. He was so cute because he kept running around in circles, tiring himself out. We will have to take him back to the beach again soon. He loved it!
So most of the morning we hung out picking our Fantasy Football teams. There was a good crew of us there (me, Cam, Marte, Clauds, Kelly and Zetti) and I have to give Claudia props for being totally into it and picking her own team. I on the other hand had no idea who to pick, so Cam put me on auto draft. :) I think I got a pretty darn good team. We will see if I kick Hot Fuzz's (CoMo's) butt this weekend. I am favored and projected to win by 4 points.....Go Gasholes! After the draft, we went to this really cool little BBQ place for lunch. It was nice to sit out in the warm sun and relax. I am at that point in my pregnancy where anytime I can sit down for a couple hours and do nothing, feels really good. After lunch and some beers (for the others) we headed to the Boardwalk. The Boardwalk was packed with people and so many new rides. Can you believe that Cam actually thought I could go on the log-ride? Ha Ha. Instead I settled for the haunted house which I actually thought was a little scary. I know baby Watts did too because she was kicking the whole time. Marte and Claudia's little ones, Murphy and Waylon Walsh, were also there and we were able to watch them enjoy the kiddy rides. I have to say that the two of them were sooo cute!
Here is a picture of Cameron and Murphy with little Rosie. Cam absolutely adored Murphy and I think it was at this point he realized how excited he was that we are going to have a girl.
This is the closest I got to the Log-Ride!
Talk about a Craving....
So at first I was not really craving anything.....really just eating everything in sight. Since about the 3rd or 4th month though, I have been craving Nectarines. Oh Nectarines. I know how weird.....huh? I mean at least they are healthy and in season. I basically eat one everyday (sometimes 2). I really think it is a funny craving but had to add it to my blog since so many people have asked!
