Slowly but surely.....

I am growing.  When I see people they still think I look pretty small, but I definitely feel big.  Today marks our 23 1/2 week and on Tuesday we will have our 24 week appointment.  The only thing Cam and I are a little bummed about is the fact that we hear there are no more ultrasounds.  We love being able to see the baby move and how big she is getting.  I swear right now she is doing karate in my belly and has the hiccups quite often.   I am getting so excited to meet Baby Watts and see what type of personality she will have.

Work Shmirk!

Hello Everyone.  I just want to apologize to my regulars who check the blog often and who have had to wait a long while for me to post something.  Well the reason I have been away for sometime is because I had to return to work.  The summer was really great and I felt so rested and energized.  Now it is back to the long hours and commute.  So sad.  Cam and I have been up to a lot since the last log in.  We have been working hard to clean out the guest room and to get things ready to start decorating the baby's room!  We are so excited and cannot wait to get the room in order. Here is a picture of what the guest room looked like before we started demolition........and after.  Now there is nothing in the room at all.   We have already ordered and received all of our furniture for the baby's room which I am hoping we can put together this weekend.  Stay tuned to see what the finished product will look like!

Baby Watts is in her first Wedding!

So this past weekend Baby Watts was in her first wedding and Cam and I were thrilled to be a part of such a special event.  The wedding was for our dear friends Geoff and Alicia (Cambra) Hildebrandt and the four of us have been close friends since college.  The cool thing about it was that all three of us were actually in the wedding, Cameron was the best man, and I was one of the bridesmaids.  We started off the weekend out at a luncheon for the happy couple at Korbel.  I had never been to Korbel before, so it was great to explore the facility and try a small sip of champagne!  The wedding day was absolutely fabulous, blue skies, warm weather and good company.   The event was held at the Santa Rosa Country Club which was the perfect venue for a wedding.  Alicia and Geoff held the ceremony outside on the golf course and the reception in the club's ballroom.  At the reception, we danced, reminisced with old friends and celebrated with drinks (for Cam) and candy (for Juls & baby). Oh, did I mention they had a candy bar!  We finished the night at John Ash bar, and I couldn't believe I lasted that long.  The entire night was unforgettable and a great way for us to end the summer.  Best Wishes Geoff and Alicia, we love you.  XOXO
