So this past weekend Baby Watts was in her first wedding and Cam and I were thrilled to be a part of such a special event. The wedding was for our dear friends Geoff and Alicia (Cambra) Hildebrandt and the four of us have been close friends since college. The cool thing about it was that all three of us were actually in the wedding, Cameron was the best man, and I was one of the bridesmaids. We started off the weekend out at a luncheon for the happy couple at Korbel. I had never been to Korbel before, so it was great to explore the facility and try a small sip of champagne! The wedding day was absolutely fabulous, blue skies, warm weather and good company. The event was held at the Santa Rosa Country Club which was the perfect venue for a wedding. Alicia and Geoff held the ceremony outside on the golf course and the reception in the club's ballroom. At the reception, we danced, reminisced with old friends and celebrated with drinks (for Cam) and candy (for Juls & baby). Oh, did I mention they had a candy bar! We finished the night at John Ash bar, and I couldn't believe I lasted that long. The entire night was unforgettable and a great way for us to end the summer. we were so honored to have you in our wedding and that we made your blog! don't forget about your wedding promise to us that you'll stay nice and comfy inside mommy until after xmas, ok? we have to stay in san diego until 12/26 and auntie alicia would be devastated if she didn't see you come into the world. we love you and can't wait to see how much you've been growing since 08.02.08! xox
